:: Notice to all corpsmen; Should the time come that a marine passes away under your care or in your unit, you will be tasked with sending a message via Extranet to their next of kin where applicable. The template for such notifications are as follows. Note: do not divulge classified or mission sensitive information for the scenario of death.

To the next of kin for [Rank and Full Name],

It is with a heavy heart that I regretfully inform you of the passing of [Rank, Last Name]. [He/She] was taken from us [scenario of death]. [His/Her] passing will not go in vain as [his/her] warrior spirit lives on in [his/her] friends, [his/her] squad, [his/her] crew and the Alliance as a whole. [His/Her] remains and any personal effects will be returned at the next available opportunity. If there are any further questions, or if a schedule needs to be made with a counselor, or a Human Resources liaison, please contact your local Systems Alliance representative.
