Shepard was born on April 11, 2154, is a graduate of the Systems Alliance N7 special forces program (service no. 5923-AC-2826), a veteran of the Skyllian Blitz, and is initially assigned to the SSV Normandy in 2183 as Executive Officer. Shepard later becomes the first human to join the Spectres who's actions later lead to the defeat of the rogue Spectre Saren Arterius. Shepard initially was clinically dead for two years before being brought back by the human-centrist organization, Cerberus, to investigate the disappearance of human colonies. The culprits were exposed as the Collectors, who were directly aiding the Reapers in bringing the end of the galaxy by building a flagship to spearhead the Reaper fleet. His actions helped defeat the Collectors and halt the Reaper's plans. And when the Reapers invaded the Milky Way, Commander Shepard rallied the forces of the galaxy under one banner to make a final assault on the human homeworld of Earth, where the leader of the Reaper forces, Harbinger, was overseeing the war.

As the final assault began, Commander Shepard and David Anderson managed to enter the Conduit, a device that allowed them to enter the Citadel. It is there that Shepard finally put a end to the Reaper threat by connecting the Crucible with the Citadel and unleashed a wave of energy that wiped out every known Reaper in the galaxy by re-configuring the Crucible's antenna to target the Reaper Signal.

With the Crucible falling out of orbit from the Citadel, The Commander was thought to have been KIA. However, Shepard was recovered from the debris in London. He was pronounced dead by the time his body reached a nearby hospital. But through the efforts of the staff on-hand and his cybernetics fighting to save his life, Shepard survived the fall from space.

Many rewards, recognitions, and landmarks were erected in Commander Shepard's name. The day that the Reapers were defeated was known as Remembrance Day, and was first initially introduced by Shepard in ceremony, to remember the millions, if not billions of people who died to the Reaper's genocide.

As of 2226, Shepard has undergone several therapies to assess what he saw that day that he activated the beam, but many professionals agree that Shepard's condition was too severe to officially recognize anything significant from the supposive conversation with 'The Catalyst'. Shepard remarks that '-What happened is old history now, And I'd like to not think about it anymore. And just focus on here and now." Shepard currently spends his time with his family on Earth as well as catching up with many old friends from over the years he was in the military.

From everyone on the ANN team, "We Salute You, Commander Shepard."

Kaiden Alenko

Kaidan was born in 2151 into a family already familiar with space: his father served in the Alliance military. After his mother was downwind of a transport crash in Singapore, Kaidan was exposed in utero to element zero and beat the odds, gaining biotic potential instead of terminal brain cancer. It is because of this that Kaiden Alenko became one of the first few hundred recognizable human biotics. His commitment to the mission was unmatched. When the Normandy sabotaged Saren's army on Virmire he volunteered to stay behind to detonate a bomb neccesary to destroy Saren's impure krogan army and all the terrible research he had conducted there. It is thanks to Alenko that Commander Shepard and the crew of the Normandy were able to escape Virmire before the Reaper, Sovereign, could catch them.

Kaiden Alenko gave his life for the mission. And stands as a symbol of loyalty and courage to every marine in the Systems Alliance.

Born on April 14th, 2158 on the colony world Sirona in the 61 Ursae Majoris system, Ashley Madeline Williams comes from a large family that includes a long line of Alliance soldiers. Her training and experience was nothing short of exceptional, and it is through her endurance and courage alone that helped her fight alongside Commander Shepard against the Reaper threat. She's fought alongside the Commander for months against Saren Arterius and was alongside him when they defeated him during the Battle of the Citadel.

After the defeat of Saren Arterius, Ashley returned to serve the Systems Alliance following the death of Commander Shepard. She recites that she reunited with the Commander on the colony of Horizon after being stuck in the middle of a Collector invasion. She mentions that the Commander had been working for Cerberus after they brought him back to life. And she admits to having held stigma towards the Commander for a number a long time due to that fact as she thought Shepard betrayed the Alliance. But in the end. She regrets ever doubting the Commander.

Ashley Williams was injured in the line of duty after accompanying the Commander off of Earth as the Reaper invasion began and nearly died due to internal injuries caused by a Cerberus android. She spent months at the Huerta Hospital on the Citadel before the Cerberus incursion began. She was credited for keeping the Turian and Asari Councilors safe before she discovered that the former Human Councilor, Donnel Udina, was behind the coup. And assisted the Commander in taking him down. She then accompanied the Commander to the end of the war and was there by his side in the final push to the Conduit.

After the war. She ended up marrying Shepard and retiring to Earth to live a life of peace rather than war. The two ended up having a child together after they settled down permanently in the North American continent of Earth. She now spends most of her days studying poetry and art.

Garrus Vakarian

Garrus Vakarian was born on Palavan with his farther Castis and his mother who died at birth. Garrus was known for learning many of the things he knows today from his father who trained him during his childhood. Castis once remarked that "If you give up on something when things get hard then you won't make it anywhere in life." Garrus ended up being a selection for the Citadel Security Services and was enlisted after recommendation from his father.

Garrus ended up showing interest in pursuing the rogue Spectre Saren Arterius but was held back by his superiors. He stated that "I was held back at every turn. They probably didn't want me to have my career ruined because I was playing some game with tracking down Saren. Well, let's just say I wasn't cut out for C-Sec after Shepard showed up.". Garrus went to assist Shepard with taking down the rogue Spectre and was one of the few who left after the mission was over to try and fix his career, however in the end Garrus ended up cutting ties with C-Sec to operate in the Terminus Systems.

Garrus disappeared from public eye for a very long time. Some accounted that a turian matching his description was operating on Omega but it was never confirmed. He ended up showing up alongside Commander Shepard after he was brought back to life by Cerberus, a human centrist organization. Garrus assisted Shepard in taking down the Collectors and preventing further disappearances of human colonies.

During the Reaper War, Garrus served as a Reaper Task Force advisor in the Hierarchy and was caught in the middle of the initial invasion on Menae. Garrus reunited with the Commander once again and went on to follow Shepard to the end of the war all the way to the final run. He was eventually ordered to retreat with a wounded Ashley Williams back to the SSV Normandy as they near the Conduit. And survived the final push to the Conduit after the Commander continued on.

Garrus spent his years after the war alongside his partner Tali'Zorah vas Normandy (Now known as Admiral Tali'Zorah). The two made frequent visits to Shepard while he was recovering from his wounds and were noted as the most reoccurring. "The first thing we did as soon as Shepard was up and about was hitting the local bar. I told him I owe him one after the war." Garrus now, however is employed with the Hierarchy as a training instructor and remarks that "It's not something I planned on doing but I just enjoy teaching the new bloods all the tricks I've learned over the years, plus it's not fairly stressful when everyone follows your orders to the letter because your a damn war hero." While not at his job. He pays visits to Shepard on Earth as well as his partner Admiral Tali'Zorah on Rannoch.

Urdnot Wrex

(Featured Article) The Normandy: Where are they now? 8b5d73c2d9178c5b87ffc83b4b2db875

Born into Clan Urdnot, Wrex quickly gained fame for his prowess in battle. He became a leader of one of the smaller Urdnot tribes while still a youth – the youngest krogan to be granted the honor in a thousand years. After the Krogan Rebellions ended, most remaining krogan tribes wanted to continue fighting despite the genophage and its devastating effect on their ability to reproduce. The most influential voice calling for a return to arms was one of the few warlords to survive the war, Wrex's father Jarrod.

In the past three centuries, he has served no master but himself; working as a bodyguard, mercenary, soldier of fortune, and bounty hunter. Wrex has had some interesting adventures – including an encounter with a fellow merc named Aleena – and he was even hired briefly by Saren Arterius to raid a volus cargo ship, though Wrex didn't realise who the turian was until he met Shepard. Tales of his exploits have even made it as far as the quarian Flotilla. Even after many travels, there is little in the galaxy that can still surprise him. Despite his brutish appearance, Wrex rarely loses his temper. The mere threat of his anger is usually enough to get what he wants. When his fury is unleashed, however, it is a truly terrifying sight. He doesn't speak often, but when he does his words are direct and often shockingly blunt – that tends to get people to listen.

After having served with Commander Shepard in his mission to take down Saren Arterius. Wrex returned to Clan Urdnot to lead his clan as well as many others who would form to his ideals in trying to rebuild the krogan society. This dream wasn't realized until the start of the Reaper War. Where the might of the Krogan was needed to retake the Turian homeworld of Palaven as well as Earth. Urdnot Wrex offered support in exchange for one thing. A cure for the genophage. Commander Shepard, his closest friend and ally, accepted the offer with or without the support of the Salarians and through the help of a Salarian scientist, Mordin Solus, his kind was cured of the genophage. With their strength back. The Krogan landed on Palaven and helped push back the Reapers all the way to Earth.

After the war had ended. Urdnot Wrex established the Krogan Junta, a government ruled by the Council of Clans and the final judgement of the elected Prime Chieftain of which Wrex holds the title of. The Junta Council brings the problems and news of the clans to the Prime Chieftain in which they will act upon or not. Once the Junta was established. Wrex asked the Council for the return of several former krogan colonies as well as a new homeworld to rebuild. Although cooperative. The Citadel Council could not grant Wrex's request for a new homeworld and instead offered the Reaper technology left behind to help rebuild Tuchanka instead. Prime Chieftain Wrex begrudgingly accepted and has lead the Krogan into a brighter future than their dark past.

When not dealing with galactic politics. Urdnot Wrex is known for visiting his good friend, Commander Shepard, on the Citadel when they both happen to be there. Urdnot Wrex's line is succeeded by his two sons and his daughter. His daughter was named Urdnot Mordin (By suggestion of his mate) in honor of Doctor Solus, the creator of the genophage cure.
