Alliance Exploration Vessel finds anomaly at the edge of the Milky Way

"Today a vessel returned to Citadel space with a extraordinary discovery of a Mass Relay deep at the ends of the galaxy. At the current moment the Citadel Council is in investigation of this hidden relay and has stated that they are treating it with upmost caution after the disastrous results involving the Rachni. The Alliance vessel's public statement is as follows: "We found this relay stuck inside this sort of nebula. Except it was messing with our gear, our barriers. And it quite literally ate away at our hull. It's dangerous to risk activating it. At the moment the men are just calling it The Scourge. It's like a sickly plagued area of space that's nigh impossible to navigate. But it could explain why the relay was abandoned."
