Brand New Man

The attack on Emma Thatcher had awaken something in Kelce, something primal. He knew who tried to take Emma’s life and he acted with haste. Kelce departed in a hurry, not even taking the time to personally say goodbye to his own kin. What he had to do was something that no man should have to do but it had to be done. “It has to be done.” These words are what Kelce told himself to be able to sleep at night. His ship hit the mass relay, destination: Earth. He only needed two things from his ranch in Heaven, Texas; his Lancer and his armor. Once he had those, he could move on to the next phase of his plan.


Kelce was still in his prime at 87 but he knew he needed an extra edge to take on the mission at hand. Kelce called in a few favors at Arcturus Station and got what he needed, the latest gene therapy available to Alliance marines. Kelce arrived at an Alliance blacksite and was subjected to a variety of genetic modification that improved his strength, vision, stamina, and reflexes. He was ready to fight, he was a brand new man.
