GATOLIAN LOYALIST BATTLE DOCTRINE

Analyst Comment (TS): Depicted in the image above is the Gatolian Loyalist battle doctrine. Here, threat forces are conducting their doctoral defensive positions. Threat forces will fortify their positions with hasty battle positions, using infantry sections to dig into these positions. Threat OPs at least 1 kilometer out will call out targets for potential fires warfighting functions. Within two kilometers, the threat will establish an assembly area that will hold Biotic reinforcements as well as wheeled armored assets such as stolen Makos and M-080s. These will serve as QRFs for failing flanks. At decision point 1, the threat will decide whether to conduct a retrograde or a counter attack. If BLUFOR is successful in breaking through threat defenses, OPFOR will conduct a retrograde and retreat, and will attempt to put at least 12 hours of movement time between us and them. A platoon of wheeled armored vehicles will provide retreating cover for OPFOR forces conducting the retrograde. This is the threat most likely course of action.
The threat most dangerous course of action will be to conduct a counter attack. OPFOR forces will be able to successfully halt BLUFOR advances, and then will use small arms fire to fix our forces. Once BLUFOR is fixed into position, OPFOR will conduct a counter attack, utilizing their biotic assets as well as their wheeled armored vehicles for a decisive flank, crushing BLUFOR forces.
