Crew position being applied for: Chief Engineering Officer - 113A
Can you explain what your position would be required to do?: As the Chief Engineer, it is crucial to be well trained with plentiful experience with real situations to be able to conduct expert repairs on vital systems, to assign Engineer crew members to parts of the ship for maintenance and diagnostics, keep up the functions on the FTL, Life Support, and etc. while giving updated reports to the First Officer, be it weekly, daily, or monthly. In addition, the Chief Engineer can also advise crew members on solutions to their technical problem. All of these actions being vital to the performance of the ship itself, as failing at such a role would lead to a confused Engineering team and leave the ships systems completely vulnerable.

Can you explain what your position would be required to do?: As systems operator, Lucus would be required to ensure that all the ship's systems are fully operational and working, regularly monitoring their status and reporting any unusual readings to the chief engineering officer if the status report says that the problem is within the ship's interior and fixable with the on board tools
