Vale System, Frontier Sector

The Vale system is the furthest star in the frontier sector of Commonwealth Space. It is a growing system consisting mainly of outposts, stations and fleet rally points as stepping stones to explore and colonize the mostly unknown planets within the system. The system sees one of the largest android populations, albeit compared to a small overall population. Team of both Commonwealth and corporate androids conduct planetary surveys as well as EVA construction. Vale is home to the Commonwealth Navies Skipstone Station, the largest deep space station ever built, capable of docking half a fleet and housing a fleet and a half's worth of personnel and carrying out a full repair of dozens of ships, including dreadnoughts in mere months.

Planets

Vale Prime - Vale Prime is the largest and most valuable planet in the Vale system. The planet is twice the size of earth and supports a oxygen-nitrogen based atmosphere. Most of the planet is composed of a glassy, rocky volcanic material which cannot support large amounts of life. Despite this, terraforming efforts are enacted upon the planet to a very high degree. Teams of androids are already being sent to the surface to construct colonial administration buildings, infrastructure, mines and are conducting further terraforming operations such as testing soils, regulating a growing ecosystem and planting fauna. There is currently one ground settlement on Vale Prime inhabited by humans. A polar research station called Boreas meant for observing, regulating and carrying out the terraforming process as well as carrying out other commonwealth research in a cold environment.

Artoris - Artoris is a hydrogen-helium gas giant, the second planet away from the Vale Star. Artoris has hundreds of asteroids in its orbit but no moons, only one asteroid is large enough to support a outpost between gas mining operations on the planet and the rest of the system. Deep scans have had limited success in penetrating the gas giant but some revealed there to be large formations of metal which are speculated to be actual structures of some kind. No further research or exploration has been put into it.

Dronon - Dronon is the smallest celestial body within the Vale System and the furthest away from the star, lingering out the outskirts of the stars gravitational pull. It is barely large enough to be considered a dwarf planet and is almost defined as a moon. Surveys suggest massive cave systems throughout the moon which expand deeper into the planet. It is highly unlikely such formations could have occurred naturally and must have been created by a large serpent like animal or another sentient species. These cave systems have never been explored.

Bases/Outposts

Skipstone Station - Skipstone Station, the largest deep space station ever built, capable of docking half a fleet and housing a fleet and a half's worth of personnel and carrying out a full repair of dozens of ships, including dreadnoughts in mere months. Skipstone is the base of operations for Imperator Thomas Cornwall and all fleets and divisions assigned to the Frontier Sector.

Qin Class Outpost Yangtze - A corporate shared space station housing facilities for multiple corporations ranging from Resorts to Traders to Cloners and Stem Cell Producers.

Other Qin Class Outposts - At least three other Qin Class commercial outposts are scattered through the system to facilitate corporate expansion into the system.
