SSV Shimonoseki Attacked in the Pangaea Expanse!

"Good morning to all our viewers at home and across the galaxy, this is Jessica Peters for ANN. Today, we bring you startling news from the Pangaea Expanse; the SSV Shimonoseki, a newly minted York-class Cruiser, was attacked while on patrol near the old Prothean relic world of Ilos. Unidentified mercenaries emerged from sublight speeds, using old Berlin-class Cruisers, several refitted civilian vessels, and even three former Cerberus Argos-class Cruisers! The unidentified forces were painted with a seemingly Celtic logo, and proceeded to board SSV Shimonoseki and make off with several crates of equipment from the ship's armory, and two UT-47A Kodiak transport shuttles. A statement given by the Alliance Navy stated that 'The unidentified forces also made an attempt to take control of the SSV Shimonoseki itself, but were repelled by the ship's marine contingent before accessing the bridge.' The mysterious attackers quickly disengaged from the cruiser, and retreated back through the Mass Relay. Fleet Admiral Charles Abner said earlier this hour that 'We are doing everything in our power to investigate this menace and ensure more of our servicemen and women are not harmed by malicious, unnecessary violence.'
