The year is 2227, 41 years after the end of the Reaper War.

The galaxy is in a state of decline. The Systems Alliance, having gained more and more Spectres, have created a program to train groups of personnel to support and assist their Spectres. You have been selected to join one of these units, an older re-christened unit that served under the second human Spectre, the Second Marine Reconnaissance Company.

You have been transferred to the SSV Constantinople to join this prestigious company. Regardless of your previous training and experience, you know you are about to be subject to some of the most grueling combat and difficult situations for even the most capable people.
